How to use WhatsApp Web

If you want to know how to use WhatsApp Web then I think you have started looking at a good site. WhatsApp, a messaging service owned by Facebook, is one of the most popular online international communication services on the planet.

WhatsApp Web is a browser version of the WhatsApp Messenger chat and video/voice calling app for iOS and Android. Desktop WhatsApp comes in two flavors – the ability to manage directly from a downloadable app or browser for Mac and Windows.

WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop act as extensions to your mobile WhatsApp account, and all messages are synced between your phone and your computer, so you can watch conversations on any device wherever you start. Here, we will discuss how to use the WhatsApp browser app.

The process and interface are identical in iOS 14 and iOS 15. Similarly, the Android 12 interface is the same as the previous version.

WhatsApp Web features:

After scanning the QR code, you will see your WhatsApp chat list directly on the web page. On the left, you can view your chats by clicking on a contact to open the chat and your message history, if you save it.

At the top left of the web page, there are three icons: Status, New Chat, and Menu, which offer a list of nested options. The status option reveals all the statuses posted by your contacts, including the ability to reply from the bottom of the panel. Clicking on a new chat opens a contact list on the left side of the page. From here, you can create a new group or start a conversation.

The three-point drop-down menu lets you create a new group, change the information on your profile, search archived chats, view starred messages, change settings, or log out as notifications and chat wallpapers.

Sending messages:

WhatsApp Web is as easy to use as the mobile app, and the interface will look familiar.

Step- 1 To send a message from your desktop, click on an existing chat or click on the new chat icon and select the contact you want to contact. Here you will see previous chats if they are saved, or alternatively, you will see the message bar at the bottom.

Step-2 Type Click on a message bar and start chatting.

Step-3 When your message is finished, click the Enter key on your keyboard to send – or simply click the Send icon.

Step-4 If you want to include documents, pictures, or recordings, attach the files from your desktop and send them like any other message by clicking on the paper clip attach icon below the current chat.

Install WhatsApp on your system:

In addition, WhatsApp gives users the option of having a Windows or Mac desktop client that they can download directly from the app’s website.

Step-1 After you download the app on Windows, follow the instructions of the installer (which is basically a replica of the web-based app). If you use a Mac, you can launch WhatsApp by dragging the icon to your Applications folder.

Step-2 Turn it on, and you’ll get a message asking you to scan a QR code for both the web browser version and the web app. Remember that WhatsApp keeps you signed in until you sign in manually.

Step-3 When you’re ready to sign out, navigate to your cell phone’s WhatsApp menu and select Log Out from All Devices. If you’re on a computer, you can click the three-point icon at the top of the message and select the log out button.

Desktop video calling on the horizon:

WhatsApp has announced exciting new plans to hire multi-party desktop video conferencing on its web app. This effort will allow a maximum of 50 participants per call. These plans will make WhatsApp an effective alternative to Zoom, Skype, and Google Meet, which will be a great benefit for WhatsApp users worldwide. Unfortunately, users will not be able to take advantage of this feature as it is still in the unpublished beta version. But if you have a mobile version of the app, you can set up a group video chat.
